FAQs sounds like "facts"

Yay! Welcome to my site! I spent quite some time fixing up this site so you guys can enjoy my favorite colors! :D Some random questions that may be asked:

Why Forever Quenched?
Okay kind of out there, but I thought of the story of the Jesus and the Samaritan woman today. I've spent too much time my entire life seeking satisfaction in temporary things that I knew would never last. The only person that could satiate all my desires and longings is Jesus and therefore I am 'forever quenched' in Him.

Why Blogger and not Xanga?
Yes, I know I have a xanga. I was originally going to compile a list of emails that I received through my support letters but realized this might be the best method. This way, people who do not have xanga can comment and those who haven't replied with their emails can also get an update on my trip! and beyond!!

So what exactly am I doing?
For those of you who don't know, I'll be at Yuan Ze University in Taoyuan, Taiwan for two weeks of mission work. No, not with RCCC, but with MCCC and PCC. We will be reaching out to kids age 10 and above, teaching them the English language and sharing the Good News with each and every one of them! Yay!

When am I leaving?
I'm leaving this Wednesday!!!

Any prayer requests?
Actually, yes! In addition to the general requests, such as:
- successful team building [we have an East coast team, a West coast team, and a Taiwan team that must meet and mingle the first couple days before our program],
- focused and prepared heart,
- that everyone will get there safely and not get lost [haha!!],

I have a request of my own. A couple weeks ago, I began to have some severe chest pains that hurt most when I took deep breaths. I was scared! After visiting my doctor, she said that I had a common case of lung arthritis. What?! She said this would sometimes occur after an illness, because certain parts of my body would be inflamed. I took some Motrin for a few days after that and I feel better now. I ask that in addition to our entire team's health, that you especially keep my health in your prayers. I was born with a weak immune system to begin with, so catching a common cold would still be not-so-good. I'm also worried that if I happen to become ill, that I'll come down with an even worse case of 'lung arthritis.' So yeah, nothing to worry too much about right now, but just a heads up!

I think that's about it for now, I'll see you on the other side!!
It's going to be SO HOT.
