Praise God!

I can't even express how I feel right now.

Update: Tonight was altar call and Satan has been working hard to tear down our efforts to bring these children to Christ. My co-leader/teacher, Anna came down with a painful headache and was too dizzy to function so she had to stay in her room for over three hours today. I brought her lunch and my kids made cards for her. Our pastor encountered some of his own warfare today when he twisted/sprained/dislocated (I don't know the details) his shoulder and had to go to the hospital. Praise God he is okay, but his arm has to be in a sling for the next month. Albert Liu, the co-leader of our team, is also starting to feel the effects of a prior injury in his arm/shoulder. My heat stroke/poisoning is, for the most part, finished, but my cold is worsening and I have cankersores all over my mouth and tongue, so English teaching is kind of... difficult.

Anyhow, back to tonight. We performed the Everything (by Lifehouse) skit and had a really moving testimony from one of our own American teachers. We had the pastor of the San Diego team pray for the kids and call them up if they were willing to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts.

During the testimony, Anna and I we're really moved. Then tears just started pouring out of my eyes and down my cheeks and I couldn't stop them. I whispered to her through my tears, "I don't know what I am going to do if I don't see these kids in heaven with me." Our group has grown so close in a matter of days. I've come to love these kids (yes, as if they were my own) and my heart would break when some would say they would never accept the Lord. To think that I might be enjoying eternity without them just broke my heart all the more.

Anna and I bent down and prayed and poured our hearts out to God right before the altar call. The pastor then called the willing up to the front and then prayed for everyone.

Let me just say that miracles do happen and that God was truly in our midst tonight. I haven't had a chance to confirm which of the boys accepted because I was with the girls at the time, but I will try my best. I have to type this now, only because YZU is fixing their internet in the next couple days, and I don't think my excitement can be contained that long!

Annie, a quiet little girl who said she did not believe in Jesus has now accepted Him as her Savior.

Jessica is a smart girl who has told me that she reads her Bible every day and goes to church as often as she can, but her parents say she cannot become a Christian until she is older and out of the house. She has now accepted Jesus Christ into her heart.

Tina, one of the sisters who previously said she'd throw away her Bible after this camp, is now going to keep it and read it every day, as she is now a believer.

Amy, one of the three sisters who differed from her older and younger sisters and believed her parent's traditional god now believes in the one true God.

Vicky and Sandy, the two other sisters have reconfirmed their faith.

Andy, one of the quietest boys in my group that I hardly had a chance to talk to, goes to church every Sunday, but is now a confirmed believer.

These are the confirmed children that walked up to the front today. I know that Henry and Samul are both believers and their parents are believers. Please continue to pray for the others. Eva H., only one of her parents is a believers and she only attends church once in a while. Eva C., sister to Tina, did not accept today and I fear that Tina, being the only believer in her family now, will feel pressured. Jack, brother to Annie, did not accept. Sam, close friend of Eva H., also did not accept. Your continual prayers are needed for these children, as we only have until Sunday afternoon left.

This is it for tonight. Please pray for strength, health, grace, all that, but also praise Him for always watching over every single one of us.

Time for a shower.
